THE SOCIAL AND POLITICAL ART OF
AN AFRICAN PUPPETRY

By George Kyomushula

Since the collapsed of Pan Africanism
movement after the 1960’s (years of
Independence in Africa) the
continent of African has become
trickery in social, cultural and
political from the outsiders whom
appears in different ways i.e. donors,
investors, etc

It might be heck of controversial
speech but indeed it relate with neo
colonialism figure, which has been
built psychologically within most of
the Africans, either young or old.
The sort of this political art and style
of puppetry in Africa has brought
major impact that has been recently
seen naked, the way it brought its
stylish and fancy in other way. The
system has been able to even use
Willy Lynch theories to control their
purposes in Africa, and it seems so
much more easier due to the way
they using art of puppetry in a
political way.

During 1960’s even though I wasn’t
born but I could feel it was the time
the world had bubbles by the boiling
pot of civil rights movement, not in
the West, East , South and North
young and restless human beings
whom has taught and treated to
believe they are inferiors joined their
psalms together while waving their
fists upon the sky to demand their
rights.

In Africa too things were the same,
country and countries which were
being colonized for ages were
demanding for their freedom . That’s
when the pan africanism movement
was started by the one of the
historical meeting at Accra Ghana,
were the source of African Liberations
day what we normally celebrate every
single year.

WHAT DOES I MEAN BY SAYING
SOCIAL AND POLITICAL ART OF AN
AFRICAN PUPPETRY?

I decided to describe poetic the mess
of the leaders whom are leading the
Africa in a sort of social and political
art of an African puppetry, due to the
fact of the way most of these leaders
sloppy does worst for the motherland
of Africa and its people as if they
don’t use their common senses.

Our African leaders have signed most of
the blindfolds contracts as worse as
the ones signed by the chiefs, kings,
Ntemi and the past African leaders of
1800’s.

I’m talking about the worst examples
contracts of Carl Peters and couple of
Chiefs in Tanganyika, contracts which
brought distant relatives between
indigenous Africans and the brothers
and sisters from Diasporas, contracts
which brought sexism, tribalism,
classism, individualism and
eventually brought all of the African
continent into the new era of
capitalism, whereby classification and
manipulation becomes self making
inspiration from one another,
monopoly training skillful games from
the elementary/ primary schools to
universities as major way of educating
new upcoming capitalists.

In those ages most of us stereotyped all
Caucasians as the worst capitalists
and everything, by referred what was
happened within us through the
slavery, that created a lot of tension
of the system to synchronizes our
minds with new version software of
control, which has the same skillful of
neo colonialism, but with a tinny
change of the color of a person whom
will hold a whip to whoop your back
in plantations during these new era
of picking cottons in industry, firms,
companies etc. That is the we meet
puppets in the motherland,
eventually worldwide in general.

BLURRY UNITY OF EAST AFRICA
COMMUNITY.

Since I was in schools, my mentors
used to preach a lot about unity,
union, united etc. I took it serious
and label it as the source of
development, hence there is a
Swahili proverb known “ Umoja ni
nguvu, Utengano dhaifu !!” which
simply means two is better than one,
yet disunity is source of weakness .

Well!! Things have changed in where
I from, everyone thinks on
individualism, capitalistic ideology
with the influence of the minorities
whom are quiet professional on
myths of wars, disputes and
whatsoever for the sake of their
financial gains, business,
manipulation, segregation etc.

You might wonder how does
segregations applied in East Africa
Community for instances, take a look
on Burundi, during 1990’s it was the
country whereby guns and bombs
blew up like traditional dances,
neighborhood countries segregated it,
Tanzania helped Burundi a lot for
the point of humanitarians, it served
a refugees camps to help people by
the fact of human rights, and finally
it became officially part of East Africa
Community (EAC) with its eager of
making change inside out of her
country Burundi made it happen,
while diplomatic relationship with
her neighbors works positively.

Same thing to Rwanda, which couple
years ago won an internationally
attentions by been selected to have
seat on U.N security council and
whatever, I was wondering what did
they have done so far to achieve
that? Through social networks people
were congratulating Rwanda as it won
trophy or something. I was surprised
with my egoistic mind asked myself
how come that happened since I was
aware of Laurent Nkunda’s tragedy
that he brought it at Goma DRC
during that time before he was
caught up.

So I was like what’s going on in U.N
with what’s called Security Council? I
was so naïve thought of Rwanda got
that seat as a favor after what they
have been into the massive
bloodshed in 1994. I didn’t want to
share my thoughts publicly cause i
didn’t want negative responds from
the people whom they wouldn’t get
understand of what I wanted to say.
So I zipped off my poetic mischievous
mouth.

I don’t wish to say much about
recently shameful things that A
member of East Africa Community,
president of Rwanda dared said to
president J.K Kikwete but I would like
to highlight it as how does I consider
it as mechanism of political puppetry
in Africa, which was intentionally had
been portrayed by him.

It did ring a bell to me and others
too ,worldwide might know Rwanda
rapes Congo economically based on
negative forces since ages of late
Laurent Kabila, even though nobody
said nothing but I knew about it
before I turned 20 years old in 2007,
despite the fact of what U.N wanted
to covered it up with some of their
qualifications or whatsoever,
disregard Amnesty report about
Rwanda been involved with negative
forces based on Congo turmoil’s over
decades.

WHAT MADE THIS INCIDENT TO BE
SEEEN AS AN AFRICAN BLACK OUT?

Like I said a lot energy was made to
plant fears within ourselves, fear
planted in a form of education .

It is a
fear which has been intoxicating this
upper generation to the next, it is
the fear which will enable to control
the communities whom might be
rising up again to demand what they
might want to do so.

It is a fear implants with form of
propaganda as it is based on
mythology sort of stories and
assumptions which will enable to
victimize any of their threaten ones,
it is a fear which programmed to
neutralize the anger which can
brutally break down the Rome as if it
was built by one day. Take a grip,
clearly view what has already
happened in Africa, take a look over
the turmoil’s happened in Mali,
Somali, DRC, Egypt , Tunisia, Libya etc
glance in a bit the sanctions set on
Zimbabwe. Excuse is democracy, what
it takes to have democracy?
Bloodshed? Assassinations? Arab
Springs? Militia commands etc? I
don’t think none of them will work
out amongst ourselves, since minority
wants so bad to be worldwide police
officers over the countries that they
preaching to embrace democracy,
Only they seek is controlling their
interests by the excuses of terrorism,
terrorized the whole Africa by their
army camps i.e AFRICOM ,MONUC etc

It takes knowledge to acquire
knowledge, and it needs
acknowledgement to provide
knowledge. I don’t see change for the
sake of Africa, am optimist but I cant
lie to myself by the dream that I
couldn’t have in my sleep. Puppets
are planted like vegetables, They are
made specially for the certain group
of people, most of them are made for
African countries. If not my leader
then its for my neighborhood leader,
it the way they just found to cool aid
the sour of our anguish saliva not to
be spitted towards them through
revolution attempts of seeking some
change, it is kind of hardest thing to
denying being a puppet of the
political puppetry hence they made
them to be ones so they could use
them as our lookalike masters with
the whips to whoop our backs during
picking cottons at their farms in our
own continent / countries.

Slavery wasn’t over, slavery has just
been updated to a modern one,
Slavery as software it is already been
updated and installed within us
through political, social, educational,
cultural enslavement. We enforced by
them to embraced the slavery
through the whips of the sanctions,
drones, civil wars, implanted diseases
etc. through the help of our puppets
brothers and sisters as leaders whom
we have in our land, we do also
embraced to be enslaved cause they
taught us how to be so in their
schools, which can be seen now how
hard we seeking to be accepted by
their privileges and recognition. It
don’t make a sense to believe that
educational from your masters can
set you free.
