THE RESEARCH I HAVE DONE ABOUT MY ROOTS.

                           KYOMUSHULA GRASS’ROOTS

17ths of January
me and my father Marius Emily Kyomushula we started the trip to go visit ma ancestors tribal village known as Bukoba which is at Mwisenye district we started to pray at home before start the trip which took 22 hours from Ubungo bus terminal to Bukoba town bus station.
-we used the bus known as SUMRY which cost $40 dollars for each person which in Tanzanian shillings is 60000/=
-we stopped by at Kahama bus station where we spent a night at my uncle Desdery Emily Kyomushula’s house, ncle Christant and em came to pick up us around 11pm during the night.

18th January 2012
-Uncle Desdery dropped us at the bus station and we started the trip over again.,we arrived at Bukoba town around 1pm at the daytime ,which completed 22hours of the journey started from Ubungo bus terminal to bukoba town.

KYAKA BUSED LED TO BUGORORA VILLAGE

We did take a min bus which goes straight to Kyaka, and we dropped at Bugorora village which is in Mwisenye district…as usually family reunion we met once again my Grandma Bibiana ,uncle Henry Kyomushula who late Grandfather Ta’ Emily Kyomushula selected em as leader of the Kyomushula clan..after the off da chain banquet on the mattress we did start walking around to see Bugorora village how it look alike,as always a lot of folks claimed we did look alike,I mean me and my father.
-during the night we started talking about grandpa legacy.

2ND DAY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
19th January 2012

In the early morning I woke up after heard some voices of the people talking, after I got ma consciousness right on point I realized the voices were of my grandma and his elder son uncle Henry who were praying rosary in that morning..i woke up and wanted to join them but unfortunately I couldn’t get what was up to,lol they were praying by using Luhaya language which is the mother tongue of my tribe and I only know the prayers in Swahili.
-had breakfast went to the farms, fed a milky cow some grasses,we roamed around the farms to see how it looks alike,Karumna is the brother who lives with the grandma at the farm, he is the personal assistance of the farming and controlling the fields.\
-Mwalimu Tapoli visited us at night and we did have conversation of the past, then father is peer old friend Yahya joined the convo at night and we did have a ball.
-at the main road( Uganda and Tanzania road )where the only place where you can atleast make a phone call…due to the fact of a connection and server so I spent a lot of hours right there atleats to check outta ma mails and make phone calls.
-did ear Karabagara(kind of snacks which cooked by bananas, cassava flour, then grilled in the cooking oil to get that snacks.
-did find out the origin name of Bugorora used to known as Omkibondo.

OMKAJUNGUTI AIRPORT  PLAN

During the dinner convo we started to talk about what killed grandpa and a lot of points came up,some were highlighted that he died because of the blood pressure which came up straight at the day he died..and most interesting point from my father he claimed that Omkajunguti airport plan was the one of the reason he died, the Omkajunguti airport plan is the plan to launch an international airport which will be used by East African countries, and the area code is next to grandpa is biggest trees field,
-my grandpa he do have some bunch of farms and one of the farm which is quiet big is the one which is at Omkajunguti, and likewise Omkajunguti is the village name..it will going to be the village where an international airport willl be built…so a lot of the folks who owns farms next to that area coded got the amount of  money from the government as compensation, and my grandpa was quiet sure he gonna earn a lot of the dough from that project…so people said he died for blood pressure to loose such amount of money after the researcher did assure that he is alil bit far from the yard they surely need..LOL..it aint funny but may be cause that oldman was money maker..most interesting thing, my grandpa used to get the feed back from one of the family member  who was an independent architecture known as Simmone Mutabuzi,he from the Bagabo grassroot which Kyomushula originated comes from.

AUNT LETICIA TAUGHT ME SOMETHING ABOUT BANANAS/TREES.

She started discuss how does Haya tribe like plantation of bananas from the generation to generation she said that when she was quiet drunk some gin which made by bananas.
-through banana what exactly you gonna get .
-she said through banana you can get liquor, juice, wine, plates, some sort of papers(leaves)just for the dairly uses,

HOW TO MAKE A GIN  THROUGH BANANAS??
She started named the types of banana trees which you can be able to get those type of the liquor, wine and juice.
They are – Ntwishe,Kilometra,Bokoboko,Kainja,Karibada,Mbilatoke..
How to make those drinks through bananas??
She said you take yellowish bananas which are ready to be eaten as fruits, they put them in an instrument known as OGWATO which made by a huge peace of trees, kind form of the boat, has a hole in the midst part in it,after take all the bananas which are ready to be used to make a drink, the ones who are responsible wash their feet  and start to stomp them with their own feet, for couple hours, then after got kind form of the mud bananas, you first get a juice known as MLAMBA.

MLAMBA is the first result of the drink from the banana, the other step on how to make a drink known as LUBISI which is Haya tribe best wine,They took Mlamba juice mix with millet and water then they let it stay for some couple weeks with out touch it…when the jars which are full of Mlamba mixed with water and millet, stayed for days somewhere..it turns something known as LUBISI which is the officially wine of the HAYA FOLKS..include me LOL.

HOW GIN COMES AFTER GETTING A LUBISI WINE???

They almost do the same procedures to get a gin through the process of how wine came up after getting a juice known as MLAMBA….aight?they took Lubisi and put in the jars for couple weeks without even smell them…after they get back to the hidden jars with full of wine which left over for weeks, chemist test the flava of the drink,if he or she tasted some kind of sour flavour…they took the jars out and then they go to boil it,after boiling the jar which has full of sour Lubisi they condensed the moistures which comes out after what is boiling in the jars…those moistures turns to be Gin after been cooled down…GENIUSSSSS
N:B those information got from ma beloved aunt Leticia.

THE CLAN CALLED KYOMUSHULA.

Kyomushula was the tribe name from a great grandfather who borned a child whom is the father of my father for me I called em grandpa.

Rwuiza Kabila

Borned 1874  Ankole Bunyoro Uganda and he had twin sons  my grandpa as Kato and his lil brother who died when he was young,my great grandfather was a farmer and animal keeper, unfortunately the birth of his twins cames up at the moment when there were no salts,so they used to get salt from the plans known as MSHULA..because of the coming of the kids without no salt he decided to name his first son Kyomushula (which means you comes up at the moment of Mshula as salt)
-so he was well known as Emily Kato(Kyomushula) Rwuiza Kabila, borned 1919 at Ruzinga ad died 2011 at Bugorora village.
-he did had some siblings whom both came from the BAGABO lebal..a.k.a THE CRANES our symbol of our clan is THE BIRD known as CRANES,It strictly prohibited to eat that bird so however his or her tribe doesn’t allow to eat th cranes, originated from BAGABO that is how it use to described the clan and grassroot of where you from.

Names of the siblings of my grandpa are Batenga,Kyomugisha,Chrisant,Kajura…and their father died 1974 when he was aged of 120 point something,at that moment my grandpa was 55years old and my father was 18years old…and later on his grandma known as Salome Lutegaisa died when she was 102 years old

SOCIAL MOVEMENT

PHOFTN- PRINCE  HOME  OF  THE  NEEDY.

This is the earliest Non Governmental Organization legally established 2008 me,brother John,Sister Manka and sister Beatrice Kazinja whom is the C.E.O..i was introduced to sister Beatrice Kazinja from ma brother John who was close to sister Beatrice and there was a project which i remember brother John needed my help..2008 at the end of the year i officially joined PHOFT aimed to make that day care center to become non governmental organization..reason behind of establish that NGO because sister Beatrice wasnt able to continue helping the kids by using her own pocket money and she wanted to get a support from the government full time.

She also had a friendly tied with Tanzania minister whom advised the same thing, after joined the team,I started worked directly with the children whom were there into day care center,at that time they were coming to study at the center as kindergarten..but the day care center started to receive alot of kids whom were orphans and couldnt be able to pay the fees, that also led sister Beatrice Kazinja decided to think of transforming her center become NGO cause she couldnt be able to pay all the bills that she used to pay inorder to help those kids get an education that was there for the cheapest fees.she needed my help to teach those kids aged of 4-6-7 ,started teach them English as second language, yet as team member we started to work it out on getting registration as NGO 2008-2009 earlier January and february the moves was to gain registration and work out on constitution. We did it right and we gained all that in 2009 and I decided to shift to Arusha were I started volunteer as Coordinator of United African Alliance Community Center, also i worked as teacher, poet, musician percussionist etc..it was an honor to work with former Black Panthers -Bro Pete Felix O'neal former chairman of Black Panther Kansas City Chapter and Mama Charlotte Hill O'neal his wife whom is musician and Poetess.2012 im back in Dar  es salaam and sister Beatrice Kazinja offered me a gig to become Program manager which for me i still consider it as Volunteering...I dont know what i real wanna do in this year havent decided it yet
