WORD UP S.U.A !!!

THE S.U.A EVENTS

Arusha town has been blessed with local mult talented artists that hardly to see them at once on spot where there is actually a lot of the people coming to witness that, and luckily the S.UA –saving the underground artists ,project with has been recently founded by these brothers of mine Biggie Roggie Shirima and DAUD BAKARI are doing the marvelous job that is hardly to believe that they make it happens apart from the road blocks that they going through, but because it the passion, well they break it down sho’nuff.

THE 1st EDITION OF SAVING THE UNDERGROUND ARTISTS.

The first event was brought from the ideology of these folks who aim to saving the underground artists, why they decided to come up with this kind of the project, it first started in 27th April.2012 Friday

Through the footages that I saw from their first gig, you can see the path of where this project going to be. I witnessed couple of the freestyle, battle mic and cipher that S.U.A had brought on the table most definitely on social networks, like Facebook and Youtube, you will see the hype which is hardly to be penned it down.

The first edition of the SUA event was fuel to accelerate other seven more, cause the MC’s start to get an awareness that ,there is a free stage created for them underground artists whom they might been seen are buried alive, believe me the project become so big and bigger day after day, while more brothers coming to represent right on the spot, some whom are rappers ,they come to use the platform of S.UA. FREE STAGE to rhyme their lyrics, to freestyle ,mic battlefield ,ciphers, graffiti and even dressing hip hop re-kick swag.

WHAT TO ACCEPT IN S.U.A EVENTS?? NOTHING MORE AS SURPRISES AND SWEARS TO GOD MOUTH  OPENED FOR NOT BELIEVING OF WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN SEEING.ALWAYS THE SATISFACTION GONNA BE GUARANTEED.

In S.U.A you will be able to see many and many things that you will hardly seen in any other different gigs, you will see every kind of the hype within people is faces, some sweats jump and jumping, some sweating while concentrating framed by the hype of the music and energetic Mc’s who are in capable of dying out their voices rhyming all day long.

In S.U.A you will see Afro centric swag within the youth which is hard to see at once, some of the old skool cats like Mama Charlotte Hill O’neal confessed that ,she saw youth with natural hairs, youth with Chucks

(Chuck Converse shoes) which used to be so common back in 60’s nowhere else but in STATES, so now imagine with all those swag, some consciousness rhymes from the mad cool mcs, Afro centric within participants, picture a brother with a big afros, dreadlocks, long beads, freno shirts ,dickies pants, berets on the underage lil kids while they are also rhyming , if you been in a revolution that sounds Black to the People alertness, this time in ARUSHA young folks represent what has been used to be highlighted by the our ancestors whom some of them we can feel them in the air.

I been in SUA events 2 times in my life time since it has 8 editions already, what it amazed the most is underage kids rhyming things which they are rappers around the global will die with the shock, imagine 12 years old lil kids rhyming turn twist, rhymes flowing fast and everybody screams like is this A lil boy blessing the mic like that?? It will amazed you for real, I witnessed couple time this crew of the young boys called themselves TOTO TUNDU SQUAD and I couldn’t stop smiling while blowing some finger signs to show up that I dogdone their talents, while taking pictures and recording footages of them for the memory.

S.U.A 7- 8th EDITIONS.

In 7 edition it was dedicated to Vivian Tillya and brother Simon Sai (Complex) whom are well known Tanzania hip hop artists whom they turned to be ancestors right after they had a car accident and lost their lives August 2005, they were also couple.

With respect of their contribution to the Tanzania music industry, S.U.A honored them in 7 edition event, by made the whole event been painted with the memory of these two Tanzanian Mc’s whom lost their lives 7years ago, so there are some of the artists whom freestyle and even mimic rhyme their songs for the memory of these two great rappers. While JCB whom was close friend ,and brother guidance to Vivian Tillya rap game was leading the crowd, marching them to where the graffiti of the names of these MC’S written on wall at Watengwa Studio (Kijenge Juu)

It was so touching moment and well recognized event that I personal got some feelings that great ones never dies cause their legacy lives on..i couldn’t stop swinging and dancing happier when AY and COMPLEX song raha tu was bursting into my ears, it was so beautiful moment and well touched my mind, through that I learnt something from SUA that it needs real to be real and recognized each others, we all know real recognize real and that kept it real with SUA.

8th EDITION OF S.U.A
Was nothing but an event of inspiration, it was so cool event which was hosted by Daz Knowledge (Daud Bakari) and his assistant host fellow Stephan J. Waters whom is a brother from State N , NYC – USA this brother was peer friend of  WU TANG ,he is MC,POET and cool dude whom participated so well in that 8th edition,

Why it was an event of the inspiration??

It is because ones of the earliest rookie rappers from the earliest gigs of S.U.A ,im talking about MOTRA the FUTURE n PACHA ,SIGHT MOE, RAF MC blessed and kill the mic with a marvelous smoky cipher which carried on not less that 45 minutes pass the mic around rhyming with no stopping, these folks were ones of the first mcs to rip the mic before in SUA earliest events, and they are so good, excited and supreme confidential rhyming, while the crowd been over excited ,shout and screaming, jamming and clapping all that time when these dudes rock the mic, it was so great if you been there from the start and it happen that the people recognize them and believe in them that they aint gonna be playing on stage rather that show them what they actually got, and sure they did it right.

Everyone was so cheerful, pleased and felt some joyful within their minds, as journalist I was trying to check out the body language, and trying to find the satisfaction within their minds and I didn’t doubt what I see is what I get, the crowd were blew with the music in a form of excitement.

While before that the grassroots of X Plastaz ,the crew known as Bad Title came on stage and perform their songs while they crowd without stopping getting jiggy with them too as showing some love and  appreciation, till I came to penning this down im pretty sure that they are some of the youth right there that wish and aim to be using SUA freestage live to be seen and be heard and then been recognized that they are the best among themselves and others too, all they are doing right now within thirty days in a month, they are probably sharpening their axes to be able cutting down the tree of not well known yet with the SUA fans. So it is an inspiration moments which this event will be creating time after time as soon as we move on, likewise the event will always be 2 times in a month so new Mc’s want to break the ices every two times in amonth, as I can see this is just a great initiative that Arusha people are luckily to have and actually accepted and embrace it as one of the source of reaching their dreams.
